The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.
SASSA will be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed concerning the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company point established for intervention encounters a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to help the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
